The music background you are hearing is a LIVE recording by LIVIN' in the U.S.A.

LIVIN’ IN THE U.S.A.
(A Cross Country Music Trip) is the newest hot live theatrical stage show from TABLETOP PRODUCTIONS.

With over 40 years in the music industry, Tabletop’s founder has put all of that experience into launching a brand new, seven-piece band with a cast of characters and music from a multitude of artists. The “glue” that holds it all together is the subject matter.  THAT, in fact, is the World’s greatest nation, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

And this isn’t some sappy, patriotic salute to the Stars and Stripes, although there IS some of that in the show. LIVIN’ IN THE U.S.A. is a hot, live, rockin’ tour de force through America by way of its music, its cities, places, characters, icon and legends of both country and rock music.

In this show you will see the “Livin’” band be visited on stage by a diverse group of superstars, from Neil Diamond to Bruce Springsteen, from Linda Ronstadt to Simon & Garfunkle. Johnny Cash and the Rhine-stone Cowboy, Glenn Campbell find themselves in the midst of a LIVIN’ IN THE U.S.A. show. See an “over the top” Elvis and that “little old band from Texas, ZZ Top! John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison all join in to salute the music, cities and states in the “land of the free, home of the brave.”

Colorful costumes, character sketches and a group of talented singers and musicians all come together in LIVIN’ IN THE U.S.A. for a show that is not just patriotic, but LIVE, FUN and ENTERTAINING to audiences of all ages.

From the opening strains of Steve Miller’s rockin’ version of “Livin’ In The U.S.A.,” to the appearance of Johnny Cash singing “I’ve Been Everywhere” and Elvis’ “Viva Las Vegas, ” this Cross-Country Music Trip burns up a lot of pavement as it takes you down the highways and byways that criss-cross the nation. In Don McLean’s “American Pie” – an ode to “the day the music died,” the “Livin” band sends FIVE LEAD VOCALISTS to center stage, each adding their own personal touch and interpretation to one of the song’s many verses. That, in itself, is a story within a story!

Talent, professionalism, great vocalists, a seemingly never ending list of songs about the cities and states – and this great country itself – all point to a road trip that takes you across the U.S.A. without leaving your seat in the theater, club, showroom or theater where “LIVIN’ IN THE U.S.A.” (A Cross-Country Music Trip) tours the country in a fun-filled memorable journey. DON’T MISS THE BUS!  BE THERE!
